Wimbledon Dentist Reception Desk
The client had a rough design for their reception desk, but was undecided about what materials to use, or what details to incorporate into the desk. They wanted it to look slick – almost molded, so I suggested Staron Solid Surface, which can be glued and sanded to give an almost invisible bond whilst being durable and repairable.
To really make the piece stand out, the centre strip was back-lit and the company name was routed from underneath the top surface then illuminated.
The desk was designed to look clean and fresh and to capture the attention of passers by as they walked past the new dental practice’s window.
